Earlier, on March 3, NJPW also confirmed that reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion DOUKI would compete at the event. Separately, on January 12, reports indicated that NJPW talent Gabe Kidd was attracting significant interest from both WWE and AEW as his contract with New Japan Pro-Wrestling neared expiration.
