Bulgaria's Neterra, an authorized Starlink reseller, began taking client orders on August 19, 2026, for Starlink V5, SpaceX's latest satellite internet terminal. This low Earth orbit constellation device is designed to achieve download speeds exceeding 375 Mbps, weighs 1.1 kg, and consumes between 35 and 50 watts of power. It carries an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water and includes a Router Mini with Wi-Fi 6 and two Ethernet ports, offering coverage of about 204 square meters. Previously, on June 23, 2026, Eastern Telecommunications Philippines (ETPI) joined the Global Internet Exchange (GIX) operated by NetIX, a Neterra Group company. ETPI connected to the platform from the Equinix SG1 data center in Singapore, expanding the Philippine operator's reach across Southeast Asia and into Europe.
