Neterra, a privately owned company headquartered in Bulgaria, functions as a tier 2 media tech buyer. Founded in 1996, it employs approximately 150 individuals and reported $50.0M in revenue as of 2023. The company specializes in media and TV services, operating as a telecom service provider that offers international connectivity, data center, managed network services, and security services. Philippine operator Eastern Telecommunications Philippines (ETPI) joined the Global Internet Exchange (GIX) run by NetIX, a Neterra Group company, on June 23, 2026. This move extends ETPI's reach across Southeast Asia and into Europe, with ETPI connecting to the platform from the Equinix SG1 data center in Singapore. Previously, on May 19, Neterra Founder and CEO Neven Dilkov was named to Capacity Media's 2026 Power 100, a list honoring influential figures in the global telecommunications and digital infrastructure sectors. Earlier, on April 25, Neterra added a fourth independent fiber route connecting Sofia and Frankfurt. This upgrade boosts capacity and prepares the operator to transition its backbone links from 100 Gbps to 400 Gbps, addressing growing traffic loads and responding to previous network disruptions.
