Ministere de la Defense, also known as the Ministère des Armées or Ministry of the Armed Forces since 2017, is a state-owned entity based in France. Founded in 1947, it employs approximately 37,190 individuals. The department is responsible for implementing France's defence policy, managing the armed forces, and ensuring national security.
