On July 28, 2026, MeTV previewed its fall programming at San Diego Comic-Con, showcasing the fifth annual BOO-nanza event and special premieres for the long-awaited broadcast television return of "The Wizard of Oz." Earlier, on February 18, 2026, MeTV announced a major addition to its programming lineup, stating the beloved sitcom "The Golden Girls" would return to broadcast television starting March 16, 2026. Previously, on September 19, 2025, Chicago-based Weigel Broadcasting Co., MeTV’s parent company, agreed to acquire WSKC-CD, a Class A low-power station broadcasting on channel 22, from KM LPTV of Atlanta LLC, marking a strategic push into the Atlanta market.
