Keflavik Airport, also known as KEF, is a publicly owned entity headquartered in Iceland. Founded in 1943, the company operates with approximately 20 employees and reported $2.6M in revenue as of 2023. Functioning as the largest airport in Iceland and the country's main hub for international transportation, Keflavik Airport is located approximately 3 km (1.9 mi) west of the town of Keflavík, Reykjanesbær, and 50 km (30 mi) southwest of the capital Reykjavík. The airport features two runways, each measuring approximately 3,050 m (10,010 ft), and facilitates most international journeys to or from Iceland, positioning it as the 5th busiest airport in the Nordic countries.
