Federation of International Bandy, also known as FIB, is a privately owned organization headquartered in Sweden. Founded in 1955, the organization functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer, serving as the international governing body for the sport of bandy.
On March 20, 2026, the Netherlands secured the Women’s World Championship Group B title in Uppsala, defeating Great Britain 5-3 in the final, while Great Britain won the Men’s tournament. This followed both British men’s and women’s teams advancing to their respective finals at the World Championships on March 18. Earlier in the tournament, the Netherlands led among women's teams, and Germany topped the men's teams, having secured victories against Czechia (4-2) and Ukraine (5-0). Previously, on February 21, FIB recognized Bo Nyman on his 80th birthday, highlighting his service as General Secretary from 2007 until 2022. On February 15, the federation had announced the game schedules for the senior World Championship Group B tournaments, set for March 17-21 in Uppsala, which included 9 participating teams, with the Men’s Group B featuring five nations: Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
