Creative Artists Agency, also known as CAA, is a privately owned entity headquartered in the US. Founded in 1975, the company operates as an entertainment and sports agency with approximately 3620 employees. It provides services as entertainment providers, specializing in global expertise across filmed and live entertainment, digital media, publishing, sponsorship sales and endorsements, media finance, consumer investing, fashion, trademark licensing, and philanthropy.
On March 12, 2026, Creative Artists Agency hired major studio veterans Casey Leddy, Jim Morris, and Kris Wallis for its Entertainment Partnerships division, aiming to drive talent and brand partnerships across film, TV, streaming, and other media platforms. Previously, on March 9, the agency settled a nearly seven-year breach of contract and fiduciary lawsuit with a prosecutor-turned-script writer, just before trial was slated to begin in a Los Angeles courtroom. Earlier on March 9, Creative Artists Agency confirmed that Lucy Dickins, formerly co-head of music at WME, would join the agency effective mid-April, also serving on CAA’s managing director committee and continuing to work with music artists. This move prompted industry speculation about which superstar artists, such as Billie Eilish and Adele from Dickins’ former roster, might follow her to CAA.
