News Summary:

BCE, Scaleway, and Ateme collaboratively launched a production-ready, cloud-native media solution on June 4, 2026. This expanded partnership, building on an earlier BCE-Scaleway collaboration, integrates Ateme’s advanced video processing capabilities to offer a platform designed and operated entirely in Europe for broadcasters, content owners, and service providers. Previously, on April 8, 2026, BCE integrated BCNEXXT’s Vipe playout solution into its Media-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform through a technology partnership. This collaboration allows customers to rapidly and cost-efficiently launch and manage TV channels using BCNEXXT’s cloud-native systems for linear, VoD, and OTT publishing. Earlier, in February 2026, BCE announced the opening of BCE Hungary Kft. in Budapest, effective January 2026, strengthening its Broadcast Managed Services with a dedicated operational team close to customer operations. In December 2025, BCE served as the host broadcaster for Luxembourg's Trounwiessel, the 2025 Throne Accession Ceremonies for Grand Duke Guillaume V. That same month, on December 1, 2025, BCE launched Luxembourg’s first DAB+ multiplex at its headquarters, enabling eleven radio stations to broadcast via the new digital radio standard.
