Previously, on June 24, BAI issued a further addendum to the selection criteria for the Badminton Asia U17 & U15 Junior Championships 2026. On the same date, the association noted that several badminton leagues, tournaments, and championships were being organized in different States without obtaining prior approval or recognition from the concerned State Badminton Association or the BAI.
