Hyundai Motor Company's Inster, known locally as the Casper Electric, secured overall first place in a comparison test of small electric vehicles conducted by German automotive magazine Auto Bild on April 22, 2026, topping every category. Previously, on April 17, Genesis was recognized as the "Best Car Brand" and "Best Brand Overall" in Auto Bild's 15th annual readers' survey. This selection, made through a reader evaluation involving over 50,000 general readers, marked the first time a Korean brand achieved the top spot for "Best Brand Overall." Earlier, around March 29, Auto Bild concluded a rigorous 100,000-kilometer (62,000-mile) reliability test of a BMW M3, which involved extensive driving before dismantling, and the vehicle reportedly finished with almost no problems.
