Operating primarily in the telecoms sector, the company delivers fiber-optic Internet, video, voice, and data services in Ohio and under the Hawaiian Telcom brand in Hawaii.
On March 20, Altafiber engaged in new broadband network construction and service launches across Ohio, contributing to a total of over 121,000 locations reached across the U.S. Previously, on March 19, Altafiber enhanced its Fioptics+ TV experience with a new TiVo update, introducing a MultiView feature that enables users to view up to four live channels side-by-side. This followed Altafiber’s announcement on March 19 that it reached an agreement with Major League Baseball to broadcast Cincinnati Reds games throughout the 2026 regular season, which commences March 26. As part of this agreement, Reds game broadcasts, including pre- and post-game coverage, will be available on Channel 24 via Altafiber’s Fioptics+ video platform.
