Xtrim, also known as Grupo TV Cable, Setel, and Servicios de Telecomunicaciones Setel S.A, is a privately owned Ecuadorian telecommunications and media corporation headquartered in Quito, Ecuador. Founded in 1986, the company operates with approximately 260 employees. Functioning as a tier 1 media tech buyer and a multi-service operator, Xtrim delivers fixed-line IP telephony, high-speed fiber-optic home broadband, and commercial data links to major urban centers including Quito, Guayaquil, and Cuenca. Following a corporate rebranding from TV Cable to Xtrim, the enterprise shifted its traditional analog television infrastructure toward an integrated digital streaming ecosystem, positioning itself as a domestic hub for entertainment. This includes strategic partnerships that embed global OTT applications like Disney+ directly into its subscription models, alongside an integration with the Zapping streaming platform to broadcast exclusive live soccer matches from the Ecuadorian LigaPro.
