Functioning as a telecommunications provider, it offers mobile, broadband, and TV services across the Czech Republic. The company became a subsidiary of Vodafone Group in 2019 following the acquisition of UPC Czech.
Vodafone Czech Republic announced on May 5, 2026, that the Vodafone Foundation is expanding its free Digital Odyssey program to all Vodafone shops across the country. This initiative provides staff assistance to seniors on mobile device usage, available to all seniors irrespective of whether they are Vodafone customers. Previously, on February 12, 2026, the company announced management changes, appointing Dana Fajmonova as Vice President for People & Property (HRD). Fajmonova, who previously served as head of people and culture at the Czech arm of Raiffeisenbank for nearly six years, brings extensive experience from the banking and technology sectors. Hilda Laszo was also named the new Vice President for IT and CIO, joining from Vodafone Albania.
