On September 16, 2026, VEON Digital Financial Group and its subsidiary Beeline Kazakhstan announced a Memorandum of Cooperation with the National Bank of Kazakhstan. The agreement establishes an initial five-year framework to explore the development of digital payment services in the country, aiming to connect VEON’s digital services with Kazakhstan’s national payment and digital financial infrastructure. Previously, on September 11, 2026, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, VEON Group, and its subsidiary KaR-Tel, which operates under the Beeline brand, signed this memorandum of cooperation to develop payment services and national payment infrastructure.
