U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Air and Marine Operations finalized a contract on July 10, 2026, for the purchase of 10 Airbus H125 helicopters, designated to support critical law enforcement border security and public safety missions across the United States. Previously on July 9, the American Kitchen Cabinet Alliance welcomed strong enforcement actions by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and federal prosecutors, targeting companies accused of circumventing U.S. trade laws governing imported cabinets and vanities. Earlier the same day, the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America published online resources to assist licensed customs brokers in meeting U.S. Customs and Border Protection's continuing education requirement, a new provision for the 2027 triennial cycle. This follows U.S. Customs and Border Protection's issuance on June 9, 2026, of its Forced Labor Enforcement Operational Guidance for Importers, which replaced its June 2022 Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act-only guidance with a consolidated reference for forced-labor enforcement.
