TransAct's small beat looked bigger because of what was underneath it The beat itself was modest, but the market read it as bigger than $13.9 million in Q2 revenue versus a $13.7 million estimate. Shares rose to $6.138 in after-hours trading, up 6.19%.

The U.S.-based company, which provides casino and gaming technology as well as food-service software and hardware solutions, announced the appointment on June 29th. Ingianni will also serve as secretary, treasurer and principal accounting officer. Campbell, TransAct’s controller, had previously been appointed to succeed DeMartino as chief financial officer, secretary and treasurer.

TransAct Communications has officially rebranded to Pathwise, unveiling a new name, visual identity and website that the company said signals a renewed focus on simplifying K–12 school operations. While the brand’s visual identity has changed, the company remains under the same leadership and ownership, as does its core mission to reduce the administrative burden on school staff so educators can stay focused on student success through transportation logistics, governance, compliance, and out-of-school time programs.
