Earlier the same day, Sportway announced a two-year distribution partnership with Bonnier News, Gota Media, and Erna Media, which will make all matches from Sweden’s top men’s and women’s handball leagues accessible across the media groups’ joint live sports platform. Previously, on September 8, Sportway Media Group entered a long-term partnership with EuroHockey to expand the visibility and accessibility of live hockey across Europe through enhanced live streaming and digital distribution. This follows a multi-year agreement signed on September 1 with Swedish Futsal, making Sportway its new production and platform partner to deliver all matches in Sweden’s top futsal leagues for both women and men through a new digital platform. On August 26, Swindon Wildcats, Basingstoke Bison, and Leeds Knights of the NIHL partnered with Sportway to launch WKBLive.tv, a new streaming platform that centralizes coverage of the three clubs, ahead of the 2026/27 season.
