News Summary:

On March 17, 2026, SCAPE joined Willmott Dixon and Doncaster City Council at a topping out ceremony for the Gateway One project in Doncaster, signifying substantial program progress as attendees signed a commemorative plaque and steel beam placed into the structure. Earlier in March, on the 3rd, Willmott Dixon received an appointment via the SCAPE Construction Framework to undertake a significant overhaul and upgrade of a historic Grade II Listed building. This project aims to introduce modern facilities and meet sustainability standards, transforming the space into the Brigade’s new headquarters following proposals developed in late 2025. Previously, on February 17, SCAPE supported Morgan Sindall in expanding Abbeywood school, with the new Olympus Building opening for use immediately after the February half term, increasing the school’s capacity to 1,500 pupils in response to growing local demand for secondary school places.
