Previously, on July 10, 2026, Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation, addressed the gender gap in professional esports, asserting that women possess the talent to compete at the highest levels, despite comprising nearly half of the world’s gamers but only a small fraction of professional competitors. This follows the conclusion of the Saudi eLeague 2026 on June 8, 2026, an event that saw participation from companies like Yalla Group.
