It also provides Internet content in multiple languages, including Russian, English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Portuguese, and Serbian.
On March 15, 2026, Russia Today highlighted Iran’s ability to repel Western threats, stating Iran demonstrates the "true limits of America’s power," while a US media outlet questioned former President Trump's claim regarding global oil markets and the Strait of Hormuz. Previously, on March 14, Russia Today reported that Russian buyers are shifting toward Moroccan saffron following geopolitical tensions in the Middle East that disrupted Iranian exports, the country's primary supplier of the spice. Earlier, on January 28, Margaret Simonyan, editor of the international media group "Russia Today," commented on German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's statement that Ukraine's rapid accession to the European Union by January 1 of the following year is excluded. This followed General Director Dmitry Kiselyov's assertion on January 25 that Europe acted to its detriment and lost its status as a reliable financial center.
