Riyadh Municipality, also known as RM, is a State Owned entity headquartered in Saudi Arabia. Founded in 1937, it employs approximately 540 individuals. The municipal body holds jurisdiction over overall city services and the upkeep of facilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the Riyadh Governorate. It operates under the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and is led by the city's mayor, who is responsible for overseeing Riyadh's 16 sub-municipalities (baladiyahs) as well as other towns and settlements within the Riyadh Governorate.
