On July 9, 2026, Qobuz partnered with the Newport Festival Foundation again, sponsoring the Newport Folk and Newport Jazz Festivals. The independently-owned music streaming and download platform became an official festival sponsor across both weekends, establishing a presence in the festival app, on-site signage, and presenting two late-night aftershows, building on its previous year's aftershow partnership. Previously, on June 25, Yasiin Bey announced a new partnership with Rhymesayers Entertainment, which includes the August 2026 reissue of his 2009 album "The Ecstatic," featuring two previously unreleased bonus tracks. This followed Qobuz's announcement on June 23 that it would serve as the exclusive streaming partner for Bey's "The Ecstatic" reissue, making the album available in high-resolution and lossless audio. Earlier in June, Qobuz won the Independent Champion award at the Libera Awards in New York, an event dedicated to recognizing independent artists and their supporting infrastructure.
