Earlier in September, on the 11th, Spain’s Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration engaged Orange to expand Wi-Fi connectivity at temporary migrant accommodation centers in Ceuta. This initiative aimed to streamline procedures and ensure the efficient operation of the reception system. This followed the August 31 announcement that Orange Cyberdefense España, a new Spanish subsidiary, would establish 100 specialist cybersecurity positions at its Madrid and Barcelona facilities, with operations slated to commence in early 2026.
