Earlier on June 22, the company described Vantage Fiber as building on the success of its Vantage PNM, transforming fiber network management through proactive service assurance to help operators detect and fix network issues before they affect customers. Previously, on June 19, OpenVault unveiled the platform, noting it deploys AI to flag degradation in optical PON links and fiber equipment. The system promises near-instantaneous visibility across PON fleets with a unified health score and alarm logs to support auditing across line terminals (OLTs), network terminals (ONTs), and PON posts. This followed OpenVault's initial introduction of the AI-powered proactive network maintenance solution to optical networks for broadband providers on June 18.
OpenVault's customers primarily consist of telecoms and entertainment content rights companies. Examples of OpenVault's customers include Nederlandse Omroep Stichting, Mediacom Communications and Westman Communications Group.
