Vodafone España adds Videoclub by Rakuten TV
Vodafone España’s TV service has added the Videoclub by Rakuten TV service to its offering, providing a library of rental movies that increases the catalogue available within the Vodafone TV service. Vodafone TV customers will have access to approximately 6,000 rental titles, including recent premieres such as Hamnet, One Battle After Another, Wuthering Heights and movies such as 28 Years Later: The Temple of Bones and Now You See Me 3.

Vodafone Spain to add three BBC channels to TV service next month
Vodafone Spain is set to follow Telefonica and Orange by adding three international BBC channels to its TV offer starting next month. They include BBC Earth, with the broadcaster's most outstanding nature and investigative documentaries, BBC Lifestyle with the best BBC entertainment shows and BBC History with productions such as Civilizations, The Windsors, Mummies Uncovered and Treasures Uncovered.

Vodafone Spain revamps roaming offer
Vodafone Spain (Zegona) has expanding and updated its international roaming offer, allowing its customers to travel and connect to local networks in more than 20 countries throughout the world. The dedicated bundles start at EUR 3 a day for 3GB in the US, Hawaii and Alaska, rising to EUR 5 a day for 1GB in China, Egypt, India, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Vietnam, Malaysia, Jordan and Tunisia.

Vodafone Spain moves FCC's communications to the cloud
Vodafone Spain (Zegona) said its B2B unit Vodafone Empresas has helped environmental services group FCC move its corporate communications to the cloud using its One Net platform. The project enables the multinational, which employs some 72,000 people globally, to unify fixed and mobile telephony under a single system designed to improve operational efficiency, flexibility and sustainability.

Vodafone Spain inks Seville smart tourism deal
Vodafone Spain (Zegona) has signed a deal with Sekba Technology and Seville's Provincial IT Company (Inpro) to develop a Tourism Intelligence Plan for the province. Vodafone Spain, Andalusia launch Wi-Fi in 600 healthcare centres
Vodafone Spain and the Andalusian regional government (Junta de Andalucia) have announced the launch of Wi-Fi networks across more than 600 healthcare centres in Andalusia, extending the reach of the region's free public connectivity programme. The move will give over 8.7 million residents free internet access at hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities, building on the "Andalucia Vuela" project launched last year as Europe's largest free public Wi-Fi network.

Finetwork targets Digi with low-cost tariff revamp
Vodafone Spain (Zegona) has decided to convert Finetwork into a low-cost brand to target fast-rising rival Digi Spain with the launch of a series of family-oriented plans, reports business daily Cinco Dias. The updated catalogue will include some of the most affordable convergent rates in the Spanish market as well as a mobile-only plan with unlimited calls and 5G data plus 100 SMS for under EUR 10 a month, with no permanence clause.

Vodafone Spain, Telefonica complete sale of Fiberpass stake to Axa
UK-based telecom investment firm Zegona, owner of Vodafone Spain, announced that the acquisition by France's Axa Investment Management of a 40 percent stake in Fiberpass, the wholesale fibre operator it set up with Telefonica at the start of last year, has now completed. As a result, Telefonica will retain a majority stake of 55 percent of Fiberpass, with Axa owning 40 percent and Vodafone Spain seeing its share drop to 5 percent.
