Managed by ASM Global, the venue served as the former home of the NBA's Golden State Warriors from 1971 until 2019. With a seating capacity exceeding 19,000, the arena is structured to accommodate a diverse array of events, including major concerts, family shows, and various sporting competitions. The complex further incorporates the RingCentral Coliseum and provides extensive parking and additional event spaces.
On April 16, 2026, the Oakland Coliseum hosted the Annual Fair Chance Job and Resource Fair. Previously, on April 2, the AEG Oakland Community Foundation, with support from the Legends Global team, distributed over 450 books to students at EnCompass Academy in Oakland to promote literacy.
