Earlier, on September 13, the company, in collaboration with Otofuke Town and five other organizations, confirmed it would begin trials of autonomous buses and shared bicycles in Otofuke, Hokkaido, from October 1. These trials seek to alleviate congestion around a popular roadside station and encourage visitor travel in the area. Previously, on September 7, NTT Docomo Business initiated a collaboration with Tess Engineering to develop an IoT security system. This system aims to strengthen the security of communications infrastructure used for remote monitoring at solar power generation plants, addressing growing cyberattacks on devices by leveraging NTT Docomo Business's docomo business SIGN IoT network-as-a-service platform, which includes threat detection, blocking functions, and communications logging.
