This follows broader trends in India's space journey over the last 12 years, marked by ISRO missions, indigenous launch vehicles, and private sector reforms. Previously, on June 22, 2026, projections indicated India's space economy is set to grow from $8 billion to $40-45 billion over the next decade, driven by policy reforms, private sector participation, and technology commercialisation, with India aiming to increase its share of the global space economy to 8% by 2030.
