MNC Group, also known as PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk or MNC Asia Holding, is a Publicly Owned company headquartered in Indonesia. Founded in 1989 as a securities company and listed on the IDX in 1997, this holding company expanded into media in 2001 and officially entered entertainment hospitality in 2007. With approximately 1,260 employees, it reported $959.3M in revenue as of 2024. The company functions as an investment group with three strategic businesses: Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, and Entertainment Hospitality.
On April 22, 2026, a panel of judges at the Central Jakarta District Court ordered media tycoon Hary Tanoesoedibjo and his company MNC Asia Holding to pay $28 million in damages plus interest to toll road operator Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada. This ruling stems from a long-running dispute over a problematic securities exchange. Previously, on March 31, 2026, PT MNC Tourism Indonesia Tbk (IDX: KPIG) announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, reporting a 47.7% growth in revenue amid strategic project expansion. Earlier, on March 25, 2026, PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BCAP) reported a 130.1% surge in net income for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, with consolidated revenue rising 16.2% year-on-year to Rp3.8 trillion from Rp3.2 trillion in FY-2024. This follows a statement made on January 28, 2026, by former Chief Justice Gayus Lumbuun at the Central Jakarta District Court, who deemed PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk's (CMNP) lawsuit against PT Bhakti Investama unfair, asserting that CMNP was not a direct party to the lawsuit.
