The Mid-American Conference recognized Mia Boule (indoor track and field) and Peter Suder (men's basketball) as its Scholar Athlete of the Week winners on March 3, marking the first time in the current academic year Miami University student-athletes swept both awards. Previously, on February 20, the RedHawks indoor track and field team split its competition, with some athletes participating in the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame and others at the Wittenberg Invite; multiple RedHawks added their names to the top-10 lists, including Zubillaga and Heil, who placed fifth and sixth in the mile. Earlier in February, Darrell Hallberg, Miami's Associate Athletic Director for Sport and Facility Services, announced on February 5 that Jake Warnke joined the staff as Assistant AD for Apparel Equipment and Operations for SFS, and Zac Collin was promoted to Director of Sport and Facility Services. Miami Athletics announced on January 20 that general public tickets for the January 31 basketball doubleheader at Millett Hall had sold out, though a limited number of student tickets remained available. This followed the Mid-American Conference honoring Miami junior Tretter as the female Scholar-Athlete of the Week on December 2, 2025, after she averaged 11.5 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in two Paradise Jam contests for Miami Women's Basketball.
