Kazakhfilm Studio

Kazakhfilm Studio, also known as JSC "Kazakhfilm" named after Shaken Aimanov, is the national film studio of Kazakhstan, headquartered in Almaty. Operating as the country's primary state-backed cinematography center under Kazakhstan's Ministry of Culture and Information, the studio was originally established in 1934 as the Alma-Ata Newsreel Studio, later merging into the Central United Film Studio in 1941 and adopting its current name in 1960. Functioning as a full-cycle film production facility, Kazakhfilm Studio specializes in media managed services, supporting domestic feature films, animated projects, historical epics, and international co-productions.
