On June 16, 2026, Pitt Athletics and JMI Sports launched H2PNIL, a comprehensive name, image, and likeness (NIL) platform. This platform aims to generate meaningful NIL revenue for Pitt student-athletes while creating an integrated experience for corporate partners, additionally giving coaches a competitive recruiting advantage. Previously, on May 4, 2026, the University of Kentucky considered selling naming rights to Memorial Coliseum as part of an ongoing effort with JMI Sports, its multimedia rights partner, to generate additional revenue for the athletics department. JMI Sports President Paul Archey informed the Champions Blue LLC board of governors that Memorial Coliseum naming rights was one of several remaining unsold assets targeted by the department.
