On April 19, 2026, Ikegami Tsushinki Co. Ltd. introduced the VFE-P07D portable viewfinder, which enhances the operability of its UNICAM XE series cameras, with orders commencing in April 2026. Earlier on March 25, 2026, Ikegami USA announced its plans to demonstrate its latest broadcast-quality cameras, controllers, and monitors at the NAB Show in Las Vegas from April 19-22. On the same day, Ikegami Tsushinki also revealed the new MKC-835S, a high-specification 4K medical-grade camera featuring 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution, enhanced sensitivity, three 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensors, 1600 TV lines, a 63 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and F13 / 2000 lx sensitivity. Previously, on February 8, 2026, the Paul E. Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell in Massachusetts selected four Ikegami UHK-X600 studio/portable cameras for its broadcast-quality television production facilities, intending to use them for sports, stage performances, and public presentations. This followed news from February 4, 2026, that Secuoya Chile invested in Ikegami UHK-X600 and UHL-X40 broadcast cameras as part of a significant upgrade to its facilities at its Santiago City headquarters.
