Previously, on August 25, 2026, GlobalConnect agreed to transfer approximately 6,000 fiber customers in Northern and Eastern Norway to Telia Norway. This transfer is a condition related to Telenor's acquisition of GlobalConnect's Norwegian residential customer business and awaits approval from the Norwegian Competition Authority, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Earlier, on July 13, 2026, infrastructure vendor Eltel began work under an expanded three-year agreement with GlobalConnect, valued at approximately EUR 13 million, for complete fiber installations in various residential properties across Denmark, including housing associations, homeowners' associations, terraced housing, apartment buildings, and new-build projects.
