Previously, on September 4, 2026, Bartiromo hired heavyweight Hollywood attorney Bryan Freedman amid a dispute surrounding her abrupt departure after nearly 13 years. Earlier the same day, Bartiromo's lawyer had stated that the Fox News and Fox Business anchor was not fired from the company after more than 12 years.
