Edge, a state-owned company headquartered in the UAE, employs approximately 5,650 individuals. The company operates as an advanced technology group, specializing in defense and space manufacturing and providing defense solutions.
Edge is reportedly considering a deal for a City office project valued over £200 million, with planning consent already in place for a 135,000 sq ft redevelopment as of March 19. Previously, on March 17, the company attended an announcement at Waltham Forest College where Pat McFadden outlined a renewed focus on helping young people into work and building skills through employment. This follows news on March 16 that Edge, a Dutch developer that expanded into the UK five years ago, currently has three office schemes underway in London and is seeking further expansion. Mace is scheduled to complete the 26-storey Edge London Bridge tower this autumn, a project awarded more than three years ago. Earlier, on March 12, Edge noted strong investor appetite for best-in-class brown-to-green office value-add strategies across core European markets including the Netherlands, UK, Germany, and France, following its delegation's attendance at MIPIM 2026.
