This followed America Movil S.A.B. de C.V.'s incorporation of Claro Comunicaciones under VTR Finance N.V. in October 2025, an action S&P believed would strengthen VTR's credit profile. Fitch Ratings initially upgraded VTR Finance N.V.'s Long-Term Local Currency and Foreign Currency IDRs to 'CCC+' from 'CCC' on September 25, 2025, also upgrading VTR Finance's $483 million notes due 2028 to 'CCC-' from 'CC', and VTR Comunicaciones SpA's notes due 2028 and 2029 to 'CCC+' from 'CCC-'.
