C-SPAN, also known as Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network, is a non-profit company headquartered in the US. Founded in 1979, the organization operates with approximately 430 employees and is classified as a tier 1 media tech buyer. The company specializes in media and TV services.
C-SPAN partnered with Delmarva Public Media on April 20, 2026, launching C-SPAN programming on public radio for the first time. The collaboration makes the flagship program "Q&A" available to public radio audiences on WSDL 90.7 FM, airing Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and Saturdays at 7 a.m. This follows YouTube's expansion of its partnership with C-SPAN on April 15, incorporating C-SPAN’s three primary channels into YouTube TV and featuring C-SPAN livestreams on the main YouTube platform to broaden civic access, particularly for America 250 coverage. Earlier, on March 9, a D.C. federal judge dismissed a proposed class action lawsuit against C-SPAN. The suit alleged C-SPAN illegally collected and shared website visitors' video-viewing habits, but the judge found plaintiffs failed to prove they were "consumers" protected by federal video privacy law or that their "personally identifiable information" had been divulged.
C-SPAN offers products in the media and telecoms services industry. C-SPAN's product portfolio comprises of media and TV services and broadcast television and radio.
