On May 13, 2026, AW Rostamani Trading, a division of AWR Group, signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Blaupunkt, the German provider of AC and DC electric vehicle charging solutions, to expand EV charging infrastructure across the UAE. The partnership aims to develop a nationwide charging network with an ambition to deploy between 500 and 1,000 chargers by 2030. This initiative gives AWR Trading a new charging line as utilities, developers, and fleet operators increase electric vehicle capacity throughout the country.
