The new system integrates a 32-fader Lawo mc²36 MkII production console, A__stage80 and A__stage48 stageboxes, and an A__digital64 Audio-over-IP gateway, all centered around HOME, Lawo’s management platform for IP-based broadcast environments. This upgrade, reported earlier on September 2, 2026, aims to strengthen Azam Media's OB production facilities, supporting its delivery of live sports, entertainment, and news programming across East Africa. Previously, on August 28, 2026, the broadcaster confirmed the upgrade, noting that German systems integrator Broadcast Solutions handled the planning and implementation of the infrastructure. The move enhances the broadcaster's capabilities for robust and agile production.
