Earlier, on June 16, Oxford speedway youngster Ashton Vale became the first rider since Andy Phillips in 1988 to secure an ACU British Grasstrack Championship double title. On June 12, the Trials Standing Regulations were updated to clarify Technical Control requirements and the power output for electric machines, aiming to provide a clear and consistent approach as electric machine use expands in Trials competition. Previously, on June 11, the Southern 100 confirmed that Classic Sidecars will compete at the 2026 Southern 100 Races in July, following strong competitor interest and approval from the ACU.
