Augustana University's accounting graduates who took the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination for the first time in 2024 achieved the highest pass rate in South Dakota and the sixth-highest nationally, according to data released by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) on March 10, 2026. On February 23, 2026, Augustana student Pierce Cunningham ‘26 earned the Joseph W. Yedlicka Scholarship for study abroad from Pi Delta Phi, the collegiate National French Honor Society, for his academic achievement in French language and culture studies. Previously, on February 16, 2026, the university highlighted its approach to graduate outcomes, noting that its Student Success Center routinely contacts recent graduates to track their progress, underscoring the centrality of liberal arts and support. Earlier in the year, on January 19, 2026, 173 Augustana students and faculty participated in global exploration across 18 countries during the January Interim (J-Term) 2026, a four-week session for curricular enrichment. This followed the opening of the annual "Augustana High School Invitational" at the university’s Eide/Dalrymple Gallery on January 5, 2026.
