ATN Bangla, also known as Asian Television Network, is a privately owned company headquartered in Bangladesh. Founded in 1997 by media entrepreneur Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman and operated under Multimedia Production Company Limited, the network established itself as Bangladesh's first privately owned satellite television channel, transforming the country's broadcasting landscape by ending the national television monopoly held by state-run Bangladesh Television (BTV). The company specializes in broadcast television and radio, relying on Direct-to-Home (DTH) Satellite Relay, Managed Digital Cable Networks, and Over-the-Top (OTT) IP Web Data Networks as its primary transmission types. It streams content including news, general entertainment, drama serials, musical shows, talk shows, and films across South Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
