Astera QuikSpot wireless LED fixtures illuminated a collection of bronze sculptures by artist Fernando Botero at Singapore's Gardens by the Bay, providing an outdoor lighting solution for a four-month exhibition on July 7, 2026. Previously, on June 30, Astera launched its QuikBeam 8-Unit QuikCase Kit, featuring eight QuikBeam luminaires, PowerFlows for integrated AC power daisy-chaining, 16 swappable QuikBrick batteries, and two ChargingDocks, all housed in a case the same size as the existing 4-Unit PrepCase Kit. The QuikBeam, initially launched in February at ISE, is designed for uplighting at events and film applications due to its compact size and light weight. This followed cinematographer James Whitaker ASC using Astera-powered light for the HBO dark comedy “DTF St. Louis,” which premiered on June 16. Whitaker reunited with collaborator Steve Conrad for the series, described as an unclassic whodunit focused on midlife stagnation.
