AIM Group is a privately owned company headquartered in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Established in 2009, the broader AIM Group conglomerate was founded on November 20, 1979, by Lebanese-Nigerian entrepreneur Amin Moussalli. It initially focused on engineering, architecture, and construction consultancy before expanding into media and broadcasting in the late 1990s through its communications subsidiary, Steam Broadcasting & Communications Ltd. The company specializes in broadcast television and radio, having developed one of West Africa's largest radio and broadcasting networks. This network pioneered targeted format broadcasting across Nigeria, which includes the nation's first English urban hit music station (Cool FM), the first 24-hour Pidgin-language station (Wazobia FM), and dedicated news and kids' radio networks.
