Earlier that day, the company announced its recruitment of specialized distribution channel partners to expand its data acquisition (DAQ) and industrial network switch business, targeting distributors with expertise in DAQ systems and industrial networking products. This follows Advantech's unveiling on July 9 of its latest edge AI solutions, including the AOM-6741 SMARC module, ASR-A503 and AFE-A503 robotic controllers, and the AIR-055VV edge AI system. These platforms, powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075 processor, are designed for industrial-grade vision intelligence, delivering up to 100 TOPS of AI performance and supporting up to 16 concurrent cameras for industrial automation, robotics, and intelligent surveillance applications.
