Adani Data Networks Limited (ADNL) entered into a spectrum trading agreement with Bharti Airtel Limited and Bharti Hexacom Limited for the transfer of 400 MHz of spectrum in the 26 GHz band. This follows news that ADNL, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd, planned to sell approximately 400 MHz of the 5G 26 GHz spectrum band acquired in a 2022 auction. The sale represents one of few spectrum trading deals in India. Definitive agreements were signed to finalize the spectrum transfer. Separately, FATAI Quadri, Group Managing Director of Alfa Designs Nigeria Ltd, stated during a Lagos facility tour on Monday that Nigeria has the capacity to manage fugitive emissions. The Adani Group subsequently decided to withdraw from the Indian telecom sector.
