Propstore will partner with Aardman to host a live auction on September 24, 2026, featuring original puppets like Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and Feathers McGraw, alongside pieces from nearly every Aardman production over its 50-year history. This auction coincides with Aardman Animations celebrating its 50th anniversary, a milestone acknowledged by MD Sean Clarke, who paid tribute to founders Sir Peter Lord and Sir David Sproxton. The Bristol-based studio is known for its BAFTA and Oscar-winning television, including iconic characters like Morph, Wallace and Gromit, and Shaun the Sheep. Previously, Aardman collaborated with LEGO on a new Wallace & Gromit set, allowing fans to build the iconic duo, their motorcycle, and sidecar. For this set, LEGO developed a new printing method for a small curved 1x1 dome element to accurately depict Wallace and Gromit's eyes, an element not previously designed for printed graphics.
